Growing up in a family that owned fine dining restaurants, I developed an interest and passion in the culinary field. I followed my interests and took positions, such as Cook’s Helper and Prep Cook, where I received my initial education and began advancing my career. Today I am an Executive Chef with 30 years worth of experience.

To complete my educational credentials, I attended Florida International University School of Hospitality Management, where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in 1988. I am a licensed food manager in the state of Florida and well versed in all the aspects of food service sanitation. I know how to procure the finest quality food items for preparation for my employers, whether I am in an urban setting or down island on yacht charters where my hobbies of sport fishing, scuba diving and spear fishing, have established a reputation for me in the local yachting industry as “the Chef that jumps off your yacht and returns with dinner”.

I have supervised a staff as large as 70 people and have led deck crews on several large motor yachts. I have managed large estate homes while also supervising construction crews on large scale remodeling projects.

I am experienced in the supervision of children, including daily tutorials of homework and hold credentials in swimming, scuba instruction and medic first aid instruction. I hold a rank of black belt in Chinese Boxing and have experience as a bodyguard and chauffeur with an excellent driving record.
